This blend of Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet opens with suggestions of plum, black cherry, dates, licorice, chocolate and vanilla. Medium-full bodied, with a ripe fruit core and velvety texture. The tannins still have some youthful gripe, and bright acidity brings tangy red fruit notes on the mid-palate and finish. Enjoy this wine with ribs in a sweet-and-savoury sauce.
